About

God made me smiley, Hmong, and a member of a beautiful and big family of sixteen children.  Currently, I am a college student at the University of Northwestern who enjoys being involved on campus and surrounding myself with people and soft blankets.  Shopping can be quite dangerous for me but spending quality time with others is what I cherish the most.  I have a huge sweet tooth, and I cannot stay away from binge watching Korean dramas or FBI shows.  Long walks and bubbly baths soothe my endless train of thoughts, and hot tea and ice cream are yummy things to have in my tummy after I cry.  I am an introvert who likes calm and soothing music in the background during quiet time, but I definitely do not mind dancing to something more upbeat!  Curls, lipstick, and heels are my favorite things to have on and, oh yeah, a smile always tops it off! 😉

My favorite verse is Romans 8:38-39.  It says, For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Just as God’s love can never be separated from me, I know that my entitlement as His daughter is an identity I cannot be separated from also.  I am always a daughter of God!

My blog, Always a Daughter of God,  is a result of my passion and enjoyment to encourage you, and even myself.  So, lets taste, love, and encourage together.  Most importantly, I hope that you will join me to keep seeking what it means to be a child of God and to run after the heart of God, no matter what our circumstances are in life.
